Sunday, November 4th marks the launch of the brand new Smorgasburger Stand at Smorgasburg LA, bringing the best hamburgers around to downtown Los Angeles. Every week, the Smorgasburger Stand will feature a pop-up from a different burger vendor, starting with George Motz on November 4th, and then featuring Chef Jon Yao, Chef Eric Greenspan, Burger Supreme and more. The Smorgasburger Stand will run every Sunday through the end of the year and into 2019.
Smorgasburger Stand pop-up dates:
November 4th: George Motz
Back by popular demand! The Smorgasburger Stand launches with the return of George Motz, the author of Hamburger America and host of Burger Land on Travel Channel. Once again he’ll be doing his infamous Oklahoma style onion burgers.
November 11th: Jon Yao (Kato Restaurant)
Chef Jon Yao is one of Food & Wine's Best New Chefs for 2018, and if you haven’t been able to make it to Kato Restaurant during the week to try their special wagyu smash burger (only available on the lunch menu), Chef Jon Yao will be bringing them to the Smorgasburger stand on Nov. 11th.
November 18th: BuBu’s by Eric Greenspan
Los Angeles Chef Eric Greenspan’s latest concept BuBu’s is delivery only, but on this Sunday you’ll be able to come to Smorgasburg LA and get one of his burgers fresh off the griddle, made with beef, bone marrow and duck fat.
November 25th: TBA
December 2, 9, 16, 23: Burger Supreme
Smorgasburg LA welcomes NYC’s Burger Supreme to Los Angeles for the entire month of December, fresh off their stints at the Smorgasburg markets in Brooklyn and Japan. Started in 2016 by Mark Andrew Gravel, this Atlantic Boardwalk style burger stand features a classic, griddle steamed all beef patty with white american cheese and a mustard special sauce on a Martin’s potato roll.
