APPLE PAY PARTNERSHIP

 

In addition to accepting cash and credit cards at the market, Smorgasburg requires all vendors take “contactless” payment as well as display provided signage.

Smorgasburg has a season-long partnership with Apple Pay, in 2021, that will result in over $100,000 in direct benefits to vendors (via a discount program each vendor can take advantage of) at our Brooklyn, Jersey City, and Los Angeles markets. This requires all vendors to accept contactless payments via Apple Pay in order for this promotion to exist.

Each week, we work with 2-3 different vendors, per day, to offer a 25% discount to the public, which will be reimbursed in full. You will hear from us to explain full details and schedule a date for you to run the promotion. This is free money. 

After participating your team will send an invoice, via Square, to cate@smorgasburg.com at the end of market day. This will be paid, by credit card, the following business day. See below on how to create an invoice via Square. 

We will also be offering a free day of rent to the vendor with the highest percentage of Apple Pay transactions each month. Encourage customers to use Apple Pay and you might win! We will notify the winning business owner and then reimburse for a day of rent.
